On October 14th, 2020 at approximately 2115 hours, the Williston Police Department responded to an attempted robbery of a business. Upon arrival the suspect had already fled the area. After further investigation, the suspect was caught on video prying the door to the business before entering and attempting to open the cash registers. The suspect fled when an employee exited a back room and made contact. Images of the suspect are attached to this press release. 10.14.20 - Attempted Homicide

Offender: Anny M. Jenkins, 37, Ferrisburgh VT
On October 13, 2020 at approximately 1230, the Williston Police Department and Williston Rescue went to WalMart, located in Williston, for a report of an employee who had been stabbed by a customer.
The employee was a 41-year-old Williston resident. Several puncture wounds were located on the back of her neck and head. She was transported to the UVM Medical Center.
The offender had left the scene. Williston Police and Vermont State Police later located Anny M. Jenkins, 37, of Ferrisburgh, VT at her home.
Jenkins was later lodged on the charge of Attempted Homicide and was held on $5,000 bail pending arraignment on 10/14/2020.
